Olinger, Lucy Reynolds

Lucy Reynolds Olinger, 87, of Christiansburg, died Monday, August 7, 2006 at her home. She was born in Fire Creek, W.Va. on May 7, 1919 to the late James and Chery Bell Reynolds.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Pierce Olinger; two sisters, Irene Cromer and Etta Clark; and two brothers, William (Bill) Reynolds and James Reynolds.

She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Judy Ann Horne, of Marion, Va., Connie and Boyd Huff, of Blacksburg, Barbara and Kenny Albert, of Christiansburg, Sarah and Joe Denig, of Cary, N.C.; her son, Clyde Richard Olinger, of Christiansburg; brother and sister-in-law, Maxwell Lee and Dorothy Smith Reynolds, of Blacksburg; nine grandchildren, Eddie Horne, Jimmy Horne, Tony Smith, Ben Perkens Olinger, Tompall Cromer, Joseph Cromer, Lorie S. Shaffer, Linda D. Smith, and Trena P. French; and nine greatgrandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 9, 2006 at 3 p.m. in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jimmie Lee Price officiating. Interment will follow in the Westview Cemetery, Blacksburg. Friends may call anytime after noon and the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday evening at McCoy Funeral Home, 150 Country Club Drive, SW, Blacksburg
