Morris, Robert Franklin

Robert Franklin (Frank) Morris, 89, of Dublin, died Wednesday, February 15, 2006 in Pulaski Community Hospital.

He was a retired 43 year employee of the Lynchburg Foundry Company, a Veteran of World War II, a member of VFW Post # 776 and a member of the Pattern Makers League. He was a member of The Radford Christian Church.

Surviving are his wife, Thelma Katherine T. Morris, Dublin; a son and daughter-in-law, James W. and Sarah Morris, Charlotte N.C.; a brother and sister-in-law, William P. (Bill) and Margarot (Socky) Morris, Max Meadows, Rachael Poff, Salem and Joy G. Taylor, Pulaski; along with several cousins, nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, February 18, 2006 at the West End Cemetery (Routell) Wytheville with the Rev. Edgar R. Sutphin officiating. Flowers will be appreciated or memorials may be made to the Radford Christian Church, 1300 Second Street, Radford, Va. 24141.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, February 17, 2006 at The DeVilbiss Funeral Home, Radford.
