Miller, Nicholas Earl

Nicholas Earl Miller, 22, of Elliston, Va., went Home to be with the Lord early Friday, January 13, 2006 around 1 a.m. due to injuries sustained in a car accident.

Nicholas was a waiter at Denny’s in Christiansburg. He was a member of Locust Grove United Methodist Church. He professed his faith in Christ at summer camp through West Salem Baptist Church when he was 13 years old. Nicholas attended Salem High School and graduated from East Montgomery High School in 2002.

In addition to his parents, Gary and Joann Wisecarver, of Rustburg and Ronald and Amy Miller of Elliston, he is survived by grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Ike Miller of Ellison and Mr. and Mrs. Earl Daugherty, of Glenvar; and many loving uncles, aunts and cousins.

There will be a private viewing Monday, January 16, 2006 from 4 to 6 p.m. The family will receive friends and family Monday from 7-9 p.m. at the funeral home. Funeral services will be conducted at Lotz Salem Chapel, Tuesday, January 17, 2006 at 11 a.m. with Pastor George Hatmaker and Pastor Virgil McHone officiating. Burial and graveside service will follow at Sherwood Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be given to the SPCA, Focus on Family Ministries, or any local church outreach ministry program in memory of Nicholas Miller.
