Meadows, Ronald Grant

Ronald Grant Meadows, 21, of Narrows, was called away from his Earthly home on Wednesday, October 18, 2006.

He was born in Pearisburg on February 28, 1985 and was the son of Charles (Charlie) Meadows of Narrows, and Sandra and Edward (Eddie) Wilson of Christiansburg. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ralph and Lelia (Eak) Meadows; his uncle James Harold (Junior) Meadows; a greatgrandmother, Grace (Bobow) Meador; and a very special cousin, Ronald (R.J.) Meador. He was an active member of the Narrows Volunteer Fire Department, the Giles County Firefighters Association and the Southwest Virginia Firefighters Association.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his maternal grandparents, Ronald (Buzzy) and Shirley Meador of Pearisburg; his sister and brothers, Jessica McCraw of Pearisburg, Chris (Peanut) Meadows of Niceville, Florida, Barry Meadows of Princeton, West Virginia; two half brothers, Robert Wilson and Wayne Wilson, both of Christiansburg; a half sister, Sherry Cooper of Rich Creek; a very, very special niece, Leah Perdue; a special companion, Brittany Harvey; many aunts and uncles, friends, co-workers and numerous cousins, greatuncles and great aunts.

Funeral services will be held Monday, October 23, 2006 at 1 p.m. at Cornerstone Pentecostal Holiness Church in Narrows with the Rev. Paul Terry and the Rev. Everett Shepherd officiating. The Narrows Volunteer Fire Department will serve as active and honorary pallbearers. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery in Narrows.
