McGuire, Wendell Frank

Wendell Frank McGuire, 52, of Christiansburg, passed away Tuesday, July 4, 2006. He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard E. and Corbie McGuire.

He is survived by his sisters, Geraldine Lucas of Christiansburg, Patsy Dirk of Radford, Phyllis Tilley of West Virginia, Dorothy Fosset of North Carolina; brother, William Elvis McGuire of Shawsville; fiance, Wanda Epperly of Christiansburg; daughter, Joy McKnight; son, Wendell McGuire, Jr., both of Norton, Va.; two grandchildren, Hollie and Ben McGuire; stepson, Terry Epperly, Jr. of Christiansburg; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, July 6, 2006 at the Horne Funeral Home. Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, July 7, 2006 at Roselawn Memorial Gardens with Pastor Tom Rice officiating.
