MANN, Sylvia Brenda Swisher

Sylvia Brenda Swisher Mann, 90, of Pearisburg, died Sunday, May 21, 2006 in the Pulaski Health and Rehab Center. Mrs. Mann was born in McDowell County West Virginia on October 3, 1915 and was a daughter of the late Harry Swisher and Mary Whitt Swisher. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by two sons, Darryl Mann and Ellis Mann. She was retired from the Celanese Corp.

She is survived by two sons, Albert Mann of Pearisburg, James (Deloris) Mann of Pearisburg; daughter-in-law, Phyllis Mann of Winston-Salem, N.C.; special cousins, Gladys Baker of Narrows, Edith Hypes of Pearisburg, and Mildred Carper of Frankford, West Virginia; five grandchildren, Brian Eugene Mann of Pearisburg, Steven (Connie) Mann U.S. Air Force in Japan, James Allen Mann of Charlotte N.C., Brenda and Lawrence Hammack of Roanoke and Toni Sexton of Stony Creek.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, May 24, 2006 at 2 p.m. in the Givens Chapel with Dr. Fred Austin officiating with interment in Birchlawn Cemetery, Pearisburg.
