MANN, James Claude

James Claude Mann, 64, of Pearisburg, Va., passed away Saturday morning, August 12, 2006 at his home.

Mr. Mann was born on November 28, 1940 in Canebrake, W.Va. and was a son of the late Albert Lee Mann, Sr. and Slyvia Swisher Mann. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, David Darrell Mann and Ellis Eugene Mann. Mr. Mann was a United States Marine veteran and was a former employee of Guardrail, Inc.

He is survived by his wife, Delois Baker Mann of Pearisburg; two sons, James Allen Mann of Charlotte, N.C. and Brian Eugene Mann of Pearisburg; one brother, Albert Lee Mann, Jr. of Pearisburg; one grandson, Brian Eugene Mann, Jr. of Pearisburg; one brother-in-law, Paul Baker of Paynesville, W.Va.; four sisters-in-law, Phyllis Mann of Winston-Salem, N.C., Diane Vance, Delma Moody, both of Paynesville, W.Va. and Karen Vance of Tazewell; and two nieces, Brenda and her husband, Lawrence Hammack of Salem and Toni Neal of Christiansburg.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday, August 14, 2006 at 10 a.m. at the Givens Funeral Chapel in Pearisburg with Dr. Fred L.
