Lawson, Sandra Richardson

Sandra Richardson Lawson, 62, of Christiansburg, Va., died Thursday, September 30, 2010, at her home. She was born in Franklin County, Va. on October 12, 1947, to the late Carlton C. and Frances Kingery Richardson. She is survived by her sons and daughter-in-law, Tommy and Stephanie Allie, of Hiwassee, Timothy Dale Lawson, of Alexandria, Va.; grandchildren, Michael Andrew Allie and Joshua Dean Allie; sisters and brothers-in-law, Phyllis Mays Echols, of Christiansburg, Lelia R. Jones, of Roanoke, Judy R. Thornton and husband, Andy, of Roanoke, Vickie R. Klaiber and husband, Garry, of Roanoke; brothers and sisters-in-law, Maurice C. Richardson and wife, Laverne, of Hardy, Jack C. Richardson and wife, Shirley, of Bedford; 11 nieces and nephews; special friends, Wanda and Manuel Lawson, Dawn LaPuasa, Ronnie Hull, Brenda and Al Porterfield and Theresa Hodge. Funeral services will be conducted Monday, October 4, 2010, at 11 a.m. in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Tommy McDearis officiating. Interment will follow in the family cemetery on Mt. Lake Road, Newport. Flowers will be appreciated or memorial contributions may be made to the American Liver Foundation, 75 Maiden Lane, Suite 603, New York, N.Y. 10038. The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday evening at the McCoy Funeral Home, 150 Country Club Drive, SW, Blacksburg.
