Knotter, Mary Southern

Mary Edith Southern Knotter, 54, of Pulaski, Va. died Sunday, April 23, 2006 in the Pulaski Health and Rehabilation Center. She was born Feb. 11, 1952 and was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Trail Southern. She was a former employee of Renfro, Inc., Pulaski.

Surviving are: her father, Donald Lee Southern, Pulaski; husband, Richard (Nik) Knotter, Pulaski; son and daughter-in-law, Christopher Donald and Trena Knotter, Pulaski County; granddaughters, April, Mae and Winter Knotter, Pulaski County; brothers and sisters-in-law, Donald (Bill) and Debbie Southern, Pulaski County, John Early and Jeannie Southern, Pulaski; special aunt, Marie Harman, Pulaski; aunt, Bertha Dixon, Dublin; uncles, Edward F. Southern, Pulaski, S. P. Trail, Jr., Concord, N.C., Ralph Trail, Danville, Va.; several cousins and special friends, Bertha Petty and Dreama Chrisley, Pulaski.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. from Stevens Funeral Chapel with Rev. Joe Blankenship officiating. Visiting will be Tuesday evening at Stevens Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 5:30 p.m. until the service hour. A graveside service will be held Wednesday at 3 p.m. at Thornspring Cemetery, Pulaski County.
