Kirk, Hobart D.

Hobart D. Kirk, 62, of Riner, passed away June 27, 2006 following a long illness. A 1962 graduate of Giles High School, he leaves his beloved wife of 30 years, Anna Kirk; mother, Irene K. Tickle of Wheatland Retirement Home; three sisters, Barbara Graham of Roanoke, Diana Johnson of Radford, Sylvia Harper of Natural Bridge; one brother, Richard Tickle of Radford; one daughter, Tracy Whitaker of Richmond; and two grandchildren.

A casual reception will be held in his honor at Wesley’s Chapel United Methodist Church, Trigg, Va. from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, July 1, 2006.
