JONES, James Clifford

James Clifford (Jim) Jones, Sr., 55 of Dublin passed away on Saturday, Oct. 22, 2005 at his home. He was born May 14, 1950 at Poplar Hill, Va. the son of Robert and Margaret Stoots Jones. He was a member of the Bobwhite Blvd. Church of God.

He is survived by his wife, Helen Louise Jones; one son, James (Jimmy) Jones, Jr., Iowa; three daughters and sons-in-law, Patricia Lynn and Eddie Hogan, Pulaski; Patrenea Lee and Ivan Reid, Blacksburg; Amber Louise Jones, Dublin; his parents, Robert (Bob) and Margaret Stoots Jones, Poplar Hill; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Cecil and Carol Jones, Pulaski; Emory and Judy Jones, Draper; Jerry and Doris Jones, Wytheville; four grandchildren, Leigh, Christian and Chandler Jones, Irvin Trueheart.

Funeral services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at French’s Chapel Pentecostal Holiness Church with the Rev. Billy Akers officiating. Burial in the Shannon Cemetery, Poplar Hill. Visitation will be Wednesday after 1 p.m. at A. Vest and Sons Funeral Home, White Gate and the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m.
