Hutchins, Argell Lee

Argell Lee Hutchins, 64, of Christiansburg, passed away Tuesday, October 18, 2005.

He was retired from Alliant Tech after 33 years of service, a veteran having served with the U.S. Marines and a member of the Masonic Lodge. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lester E. and Essie P. Hutchins; his sister, Helen Rupe; and brothers, Bob Hutchins and Bill Hutchins.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Ella Ruth Rush Hutchins; son, Greg Hutchins; brother and sister-in-law, John and Louise Hutchins; sister and brother-in-law, Ida and Don Shupe.

The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at Carilion New River Valley Medical Center who were involved in his care.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Horne Funeral Home, Christiansburg. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, October 21, 2005 at the Horne Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Stan Thompson officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Cemetery, Christiansburg with graveside Masonic rites, McDaniel Lodge #86 AF & AM.
