Hudson Jr., Ernest L.

Ernest L. Hudson, Jr., 86, of 165 Prince Avenue, Pulaski, died Friday, December 1, 2006 in the Pulaski Community Hospital. He was born in Pulaski County on September 23, 1920 and was the son of the late Ernest L. Hudson, Sr. and Gladys Jackson Hudson. He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Elday Hudson Cook and by one sister, Sarah Farmer.

He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Pulaski.

Surviving are his wife, Laura Hudson, Pulaski; daughter and son-in-law Mary and Keith Rogers, Gilbert, AZ; sisters and brothers-in-law Mary Lee Duncan, Pulaski, Margaret and Pete Lundy, FL, Barbara and Stan Stoots and Carol and James Cox of VA; four grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. from the Stevens Funeral Chapel, Pulaski with Pastor Terrie Sternberg officiating. Burial will follow in the Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin. Visiting will be Monday evening at Stevens Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m.

In lieu of flowers the family wishes that memorials be made to the Trinity Lutheran Church, PO Box 378, Pulaski, VA 24301.
