Hartwell, Lutishia Evelene

Lutishia (Tish) Evelene Hartwell of Wildwood Drive in Pearisburg, departed this life Tuesday evening, July 25, 2006 at Giles Memorial Hospital in Pearisburg.

Born in Johnston City, Tenn. on March 13, 1934, she was a daughter of the late Newton Price and Besse LaRue Gibson. A beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, she was a devoted member of the VFW and American Legion Auxiliaries, and a faithful bingo player.

She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Charles Robert Hartwell; a daughter and son-in-law, Charlene “DeeDee” and Bobby Terry of Pearisburg; a son, David Wayne Smith of Pearisburg; five grandchildren, Timothy Smith, Garrett Smith, Miranda Smith, Christine Neice and Gene, Shalane Terry; three great-grandchildren, Coy Smith, Sheree Smith, and Cayden Murphy; special friend, Bobby “BJ.” Stump and devoted caregiver, Angela Lawson.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 2:30 p.m. in the Kendall Funeral Home at 605 Snidow St. in Pembroke with burial following in Birchlawn Burial Park in Pearisburg.
