HAMLIN, Jeanette Perdue

Jeanette Perdue Hamlin, age 85, of Blacksburg died, Friday, July 14, 2006 at Salem Health and Rehab Center. She was born in Blacksburg, Va on March 17, 1921 to the late Jesse William and Lucy Kate Caldwell Perdue and was also preceded in death by her husband William Orville Hamlin.

She is survived by one daughter, Ann H. Linden of Blacksburg; one brother, Kenneth A. Perdue of Marion; grandson and wife, Christopher W. and Suzanne Linden of Nashville, Tenn.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday, July 14, 2006 at 1 p.m. in the Blacksburg Baptist Church with Dr. Tommy McDearis and Dr. Don McKinney officiating. Interment will follow in the Westview Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the home of Ann Linden, 504 Preston Avenue, Blacksburg from 1 to 7 p.m., Sunday evening.
