Hall, James Roop

James Roop Hall, 77, of Radford, Va., passed away peacefully at his home with his family by his side on Sunday, September 12, 2010. Born to the late Gene and Janie Hall. He is also preceded in death by his wife, Lucelle S. Hall; brothers, William Hall and Eugene Hall; sisters, Clara Hodge, Edna Galarneau, Mary South, Edith Olinger and Myrtle Fiddler. Left to cherish his love are his sons and daughter-in-law, James Hall and Gene and Button Hall; daughters and sons-in-law, Sue and C.L. Folden, Darlene and Allen Phillips and Lorrie Hall. Twelve grandchildren and four great-grandchildren also survive. The family will receive friends at the Horne Funeral Home, Christiansburg, Va., on Tuesday, September 14, 2010, from 5 to 8 p.m. A funeral service will be held in the Horne Funeral Home Chapel at 11 a.m., Wednesday, September 15, 2010, with the Rev. Gleasanna Johnson and Pastor T. Michael Bond officiating. A graveside service will be held 2 p.m., Thursday, September 16, 2010, at the Halls Cemetery in Radford, Va. The family would like to give a special thanks to Carilion Hospice, Dr. Kelly, Kaye and Treasa Rigney.
