Hale, Debra Darlene

Debra Darlene Hale, 52, of Pearisburg, departed this life Sunday morning, May 14, 2006 from The University of Virginia Hospital in Charlottesville after a long illness which she valiantly fought.

Born in Pearisburg on March 8, 1954, she was a daughter of the late Virgil J. and Ilene Stewart Moye. She was a 1972 graduate of Giles High School, had worked as a CNA and was retired on disability from the Town of Pearisburg.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Virgil Wayne Moye; and a sister, Donna Moye Sanchez. She leaves to cherish her memory her beloved husband, James William Hale; two daughters, Khrista Leigh Hale and Ryan Buckland of Peterstown, W.Va., Ashley Annette Hale Lafon and her husband, Teddy of Pembroke; two granddaughters, Kayleigh Brooke Hale and Laylah Jayde Buckland; a brother, Thomas Moye of Pearisburg; father-in-law, Bobby E. Hale, Sr. and special friend, Rhonda Crockett.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 1 p.m. in the Kendall Funeral Home at 605 Snidow St. in Pembroke with burial following at Birchlawn Burial Park in Pearisburg.
