Nellie Yvonne Goad, 70, of Floyd, died Sunday, May 21, 2006. She was preceded in death by her husband, C.B. Goad; daughter, Barbara A. Burress; son, Roger D. Goad; brother, Jimmy Hall; mother, Ila Mae Hall; father, Martin W. Hall.

She is survived by son and daughter-In-Law, Bobby W. and Brenda Goad, Moneta; daughter, Teresa G. Goad, Floyd; brother and sister-In-Law, Kenneth D. and Betsy Hall, Marion ; grandchildren, Dawn Goad, Jimmy Goad, both of Roanoke, Joey Burress, Meadows of Dan, Deidra Webb, Sasha Smith, Xena Smith, all of Floyd, Michael Blevins, Allen Blevins, both of Moneta; great-grandchildren, Delta D. Burress, Thriston L. Burress, Dustin W. Burress, Michael V. Webb, all of Floyd; very special friends, Vivian Weeks, Leasa Hickman and Darrell Quesenberry.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 24, 2006 at Maberry Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Stan Hawkins and the Rev. Roy Turpin officiating with interment to follow at 2 p.m. in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Roanoke. Family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, May 23, 2006 at Maberry Funeral Home.
