Gillespie, William Garfield

William (Garfield) Gillespie, 82, of Christiansburg, Va., departed this life December 9, 2005.

He is survived by his wife, Marian; brothers, Jimmy and Herbert Gillespie, all of Christiansburg; and a sister, Freda Quesenberry, of Gulfport, Miss. He is also survived by his immediate family in Arcata, California and Montrose, Colorado. Garfield was born in Bluefield, W.Va. but resided on the west coast until March 2000.

A memorial service, conducted by the Rev. Aaron Fitch, will be held at Belview United Methodist Church on Sunday, January 15 at 1 p.m.
