Jean S. Franck, 72, of Blacksburg, Va., died Tuesday, November 28, 2006 after a brief hospitalization. She is survived by her children, Maryanna and David, both of New York, Karen of Knoxville, Tenn.; other relatives, and especially her beloved life-partner, her husband of more than 50 years, Gene.
