She left behind a legacy of love, compassion, and enduring grace that will forever be etched in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing her.

Judy will be dearly missed by those she leaves behind including her husband, Paul, of 41 years; children Chris (Cathy), Kevin (Morica), Courtney (Copeland), Michael (Matt), Megan (Philip); grandchildren Jessica, Jacob, Mason, Luke, Brendan, Carter, Jesse, Rylan, Joseph, Craig; sisters Beverly and Mary; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Judy joyfully reunites with her mother, Mary Elaine Craig; her father, Joseph Wendell Craig; and son, Baby Boy Brumm.

Born on January 27, 1941 in Sweetwater, TX, Judy graced the world with her presence, bringing joy and warmth to all who crossed her path. Judy grew up loving her older sister, Beverly and younger sister, Mary. She went on to attend college at TCU. Judy began her career as a teacher. She had 2 beautiful children, Chris and Courtney. After several years, she moved to Virginia and went on to become a facilities manager for Honeywell, where she met the love of her life, Paul and gained another son, Kevin. Paul and Judy went on to have 2 more children, Michael and Megan. Judy decided she wanted to be home to care for Michael and Megan, so she decided to run an at-home daycare. Judy ultimately ended up back in education as the financial coordinator and secretary to the principal at Oakton Elementary before she retired in 2006. Her life was a testament to the power of kindness, and her gentle spirit touched the lives of countless individuals.

One thing was always true about Judy, you could always find a smile on her face. Judy loved spending time with family and friends. She loved playing games like 42 and SYN, and shopping, especially on QVC. Anyone that spent time with Judy knew it was a guaranteed fun time with lots of belly laughs. Though she may no longer walk beside us, her spirit will live on in the laughter, love, and cherished memories she bestowed upon us. May her memory be a blessing, guiding us through life’s journey until we meet again.
