Felts, Betty Taylor

Betty Yvonne Felts died July 9, 2014, at the Highland Ridge Rehabilitation Center in Dublin. She was born Nov. 2, 1924, to the late Fred and Dorothy Taylor. She was the widow of the late William (Dale) Felts, a native of Galax.

Survivors include her step-daughter, Donna Dale Felts Cook, of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; her son-in-law, Ron McDowell of Cocoa, Fla.; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. A memorial service was held on Oct. 18, 2014, at 1:00 p.m. at the Blue Ridge Chapel in Galax. Seagle Funeral Home, Pulaski, was in charge of arrangements.
