ELLIOTT, Mary Frances Campbell

Mary Frances Campbell Elliot, 76, of Blacksburg, died Friday, February 10, 2006 at Roanoke Memorial Rehab Center.

She was born in Wythe County on April 16, 1929 to the late John Henry and Kate Akers Campbell. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marshall Edward Elliott, Sr. and a brother, John Campbell; two brothers-in-law, Willard Osborne and Leon Atwell.

Mary was a member of the Blacksburg First Wesleyan Church. She will be missed by her many friends at the church, and Warm Hearth Village where she was resident.

She is survived by her sisters and brothers-in-law, Evelyn Osborne, Rural Retreat, Louise and Chris Christopher, North Ft. Myers, Fla., Ann Atwell, Marion, Va., Nancy and Roy Lambert, Grand Rapids, Mich.; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, February 12, 2006 at 2 p.m. in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. John Hopkins officiating. Interment will follow in Westview Cemetery, Blacksburg. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 554, Roanoke, VA 24003-0554, or to the Blacksburg First Wesleyan Church, 1406 Giles Road, Blacksburg, VA 24060.

Friends may call anytime after 12 noon Saturday, and the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday evening at McCoy Funeral Home, 150 Country Club Drive, SW, Blacksburg.
