Delaney, Richard Russell
Richard Russell Delaney, 51, of Radford, passed away on Tuesday, January 16, 2024. He owned and operated Delaney’s Kitchen.
Survivors include his children, Kendrick, Isaiah, Jackson and Xavier; parents, Michael Lewis and Vanessa Delaney Cummings; brother, Dezi “Willie” Delaney; fiancé, Amber Lane; and many other relatives and special friends.
The family will receive friends from 12 p.m. until 1 p.m. on Saturday, January 20, 2024, at the Jubilee Christian Center in Radford. Funeral services will begin at 1 p.m. with Pastor Gary Hash officiating.

We are crushed to hear of the passing of Richard. He was a good man and friend. It will be so hard to go into the store and not see his smiling face or get one of his hugs. Thoughts and prayers for his family.

He will be truly missed. He was a wonderful guy. We had many laughs and will always remember his delicious ribs. Praying for the entire family. May he rest in heavenly peace.
