Crowder, William J.

William J. Crowder of Pulaski passed away October 21, 2005. Born October 31, 1927 in West Virginia, he was the son of the late Lelia Glasco Crowder and William Crowder.

He was a retired employee of Pulaski Furniture Corporation, and attended the Pulaski Presbyterian Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Irene Shephard Crowder.

He is survived by one daughter: Shelia Jane Crowder of Henryville, Indiana: one sister; Vernell Wilson of Pulaski, Va.: Step children; David Crowder of Dublin, Va., Roger Crowder of Dublin, Kevin Crowder of Pisgah, N.C., Donald Crowder of Pulaski, Richard Crowder of Charlotte, N.C., Mary Lou Vires of Radford, Marjorie Reece of Dublin, Mildred Branch of Gatlinburg, TN, Mona Ratcliffe of Pulaski, Martha Kilbertof Pulaski, and Donna Gregory of Pulaski. Also survived by 1 grandchild and 2 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday October 26, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at Seagle Funeral Home. Visiting will be anytime Tuesday after 2 p.m. at the funeral home where the family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. 540-980-1700
