CROWDER, Delores Reaves

amem_blueridge.jpgDelores Reaves Crowder, 54, of 4658 Davis Hollow Road, Pulaski, Va. died Sunday, April 30, 2006, at her home. She was born in Pulaski, Va. on Nov. 23, 1951 and was the daughter of the late Earnest Reaves. She was also preceded in death by a brother Bill Reaves, a sister Earline Oliver, a niece Shelby Metz and by nephews Demarcus Gillespie and Morris Gillespie. She was a member of the Abundant Life Ministries, Pulaski.

Surviving are: her husband, Jerry Wayne Crowder, Pulaski; mother, Maggie Jennings Reaves, Pulaski; children and spouses, Kimberly Alley and Charles Austin, Jr., Fla., R. Deon Alley and Fianc?, Sherry Christian, Ga., Chad and Michelle Alley, Va.; brothers and sisters-in-law, Ralph and Alma Reaves, Pulaski, Gerald and Brenda Reaves, Pulaski; sisters and brothers-in-law, Audrey and Carl Webb, Pulaski, Mary Reaves, Roanoke, Wanda Sue and Larry Horton, Roanoke, Carolyn D. Hodge, Pulaski; grandchildren, Jessica and Brianna Camden, Joshua and Hannah Alley, Chase Austin; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Danny Crowder, Dublin, Garnett and Nancy Crowder, Dublin, Jean Suggs, S. C., Vicki and Bill Mitchell, Richmond, Dreama and Bobby Burton, Radford, Barbara and Donald Davis, Pulaski; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. from the Abundant Life Ministries, Route 11, Pulaski, with Pastor Randall Lawrence officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin. Visiting will be Tuesday evening at Stevens Funeral Home, Pulaski, where the family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. The family would like to express their appreciation to Roanoke Cancer Center, New River Valley Cancer Center, Dr. Kaatz, Dr. Rotche, Dr. Merten and Dr. Heath.
