Crockett, Jimmy Carroll

Jimmy Carroll Crockett, 78 formerly of Pearisburg, Virginia departed this life February 24, 2023 in the care of Heritage Hall-Rich Creek surrounded by loved ones. Born in Radford, Virginia on March 9, 1944 he was a son of the late Walter George Crockett, Sr and Maggie Sue Eppley Crockett.

Jimmy enjoyed his family, telling his life stories, and he never met a stranger. He loved riding the roads in Giles County surrounded by the beautiful nature.

In addition to his parents, Jimmy is preceded in death by his wife, Vicki Crockett; daughter, Barbara Crockett; sisters, Mary Crockett, and Pam Keffer; brothers, Doug “Snowball” Crockett, Walter Crockett Jr, David Crockett, John Wayne Crockett; and sister-in-law, Cora Crockett.

Left to cherish his memory to their hearts are his daughters, Jennifer Crockett Ward (Robert) of Pearisburg, Leigh Oneal of Peterstown, WV, and Carol Lidgard of Christiansburg; grandchildren, Brandon Chapman (Caitlynn Cook), Audrey Akers, Charles Akers (Taylor), Caleb Oneal, Jaylan Baylor, and Evan Lidgard; great-grandchildren, Alydia Chapman, Emilynn Chapman, Bella Akers, Killian Pyles, and Nova
Akers; brother, Roger Crockett of Pearisburg; sister-in-law, Rhonda Crockett; and several nieces,
nephews, and friends.

A funeral service will be conducted on Sunday, February 26, 2023 at 3:00 PM in the Kendall Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Eddie Kendall officiating. Funeral Services will conclude in the Angels Rest Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Kendall Funeral Home on Sunday, February 26, 2023 from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Kendall Funeral Home to assist with funeral expenses.
