COX, Thurman T.

Thurman T. (Tunnie) Cox, 77, of Naples, Florida, died Thursday, May 25, 2006. He was born in Kimball, West Virginia on April 2, 1929 and was the son of the late Garner Cox and Elsie Waller Cox. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

Surviving are wife, Betty Cox, Naples, Fla.; daughter and son-in-law, Colleen and Fred Kerley, Ill.; sons and daughters-in-law, Joseph and Patrice Cox, Ill., John and Sherry Cox, Ill.; brothers and sisters, Howard Cox, Cleveland, Ohio, Elwood Cox, Naples, Fla., Phyllis Puckett, Johnson City, Tenn., Teresa Jones, Pulaski, Va., Dorothy Brookman, Naples, Fla., Nancy Altizer, Pulaski, Va.; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Funeral service will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. from Stevens Funeral Chapel with Pastor Jeff Aikens officiating. Burial will follow in Thornspring Cemetery, Pulaski County. Visiting will be Wednesday morning from the funeral home where they family will receive friends from 9:30 a.m. until the service hour. Arrangements by Stevens Funeral Home, Pulaski.
