Cook, Wilma Linkous

Wilma “Tootsie” Linkous Cook, 64, passed away on Tuesday, October 10, 2023. She is preceded in death by her late parents, Lloyd and Fern Linkous of Blacksburg, Va; brother, Roger Linkous.

She is survived by her son, Robert (Keri) Pearce; daughter, Crystal (Mike) Altizer; brother, Lloyd Evans Linkous (Angie) of Lynchburg, Va; sisters; Mary (Adrian) Landry of Blacksburg, Va; Amy Linkous (Glen Winter) of Blacksburg, Va; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nephews; and cousins.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 17, 2023 from 10-11 am at Horne Funeral Home with a funeral service following at 11:00 am in the Horne Funeral Home Chapel. Wilma will be laid to rest at the Late George Linkous Cemetery in Merrimac in Blacksburg, Va. Pall bearers include: Robert, Hunter, Adrian, Glen, Evans and Matt.
