Byrd, Avery Franklin
Avery ‘Frankie’ Franklin Byrd, Jr., from Pulaski County, born on September 24, 1959 passed away on October 30, 2023. He is preceded in death by his father and step-mother, Avery Franklin Byrd, Sr. and Mary; mother and step-father, Roberta Clark and Clarence; brother-in-law, Charley Talbert.
He is survived by his two daughters, Traci Sutphin and significant other John Melton, and Jessica Byrd and significant other Lucas Higgins; 5 grandchildren; sister, Mary Talbert; brothers and sisters-in-law, Glenn and Dora Byrd, Steve and Connie Byrd, Mark Byrd; special friends who where like brothers, Roby Melton and Frankie Burton; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Frankie enjoyed fishing and was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan. He will be missed by all whom knew him.
The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to LewisGale Montgomery Hospital.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
