Brown, Dorothy Irvin

Dorothy Irvin Brown, 88, of Pulaski, Va., went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, September 25, 2008. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and greatgrandmother. She was retired from New River Community College. She was known as one that loved God and loved people.

She is survived by her daughter, Darlene Marchbanks; son, Larry (Donna) Irvin; daughter-in-law, Rita Irvin; and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, David Irvin.

Viewing will be held 1 p.m. on Monday, September 29, 2008, with the funeral at 2 p.m. at the Radford Church of God in Christ, 206 Russell Ave, Radford, Va. Jarnigan and Son Mortuary of Knoxville, Tenn., is handling the burial arrangements. 865-524-5575.
