Breedlove, Pauline Melton

Pauline Melton Breedlove, 78, of Pulaski, Va. died late Thursday evening, November 15, 2007 in Highland Ridge Rehabilitation Center, Dublin.

She was born on April 5, 1929 in Carroll County and was the daughter of the late Minnie Felts Melton and William Eldridge Melton. She is a life-long member of the First Church of the Brethren, Pulaski.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Cecil C. (Juicy) Breedlove, who incidentally died last week, and several brothers and sisters also preceded her.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Steve Sutherland of Pulaski, one sister, Grace Melton of Pulaski; one brother, Robert Melton and his wife, Becky, of Pulaski; two sisters-in-law, Ruth Breedlove of Pulaski and Tharon R. Valentino of Sanford, N.C. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 19, 2007 at 12 noon at Thomas M. Seagle & Sons with the Rev. Ted Turner officiating. Interment will be in Thornspring Cemetery. Visiting will be Monday at the funeral home from 11 a.m. until service time. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in the form of donations to the The Altzheimers Association.
