Boyer, Robert Wiley

(August 16, 1927 – February 21, 2014) Robert was born at Independence, VA, to the late Floyd Boyer and Nannie Ellen Osborne. He was retired from General Motors.

Surviving, wife, Patricia Powell Boyer of the home; three daughters and spouses, Mary Louise and Steve Glanville of Clearville, PA, Nannie Boyer of Tower City, PA, and Nancy and Gary Campbell of Hanover, PA; two sons, Floyd Boyer of New Windsor, MD and Robert Boyer, Jr of Hanover, PA; two step-daughters, Melinda and Brian Shirk of Hanover, PA and Bonnie and Joseph Eckhart of Hanover, PA; four sisters and spouse, Anna Lee Combs of Sparta, NC, Lucille Funk of Galax, VA, Nancy and Roy Ridgeway of Sparta, NC and Delta Peterson of Sparta, NC; four brothers and spouse, Floyd Jr. and Frances Boyer of Independence, VA, Charles Boyer, John Boyer and T. C. Boyer of Sparta, NC

Graveside service will be held at 11:00AM, Tuesday, February 25, 2014 in Shiloh Cemetery, Sparta, NC. Rev. Eddie Roland and Rev. Tom Burcham officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, February 24 from 6;00 to 8:00PM.
