Boyd, Audrey Quesenberry

Audrey Quesenberry Boyd, 75, of Draper, Va., died Thursday morning, October 19, 2006 at her home. She was born in Carroll County on October 7, 1931 and was the daughter of the late Robert Quesenberry and Lora Gregory Quesenberry. She was also predeceased by her husband, Douglas Monroe Boyd; by a sister, Joyce Dalton; and by a brother, Allen Quesenberry.

Mrs. Boyd was an employee of the Pulaski County School system having 40 plus years of service. She was also a member of the Memorial Christian Church in Draper.

Surviving are daughter and son-in-law, Elrica and Bill Shrewsbury; son and daughter-in-law, Klingle and Juley Boyd; sisters, Faye Myers, Alma Hoback, Brenda Lovingood; brothers, Gregory Quesenberry, David Quesenberry; grandchildren, Mary Giles, Joe Shrewsbury, James Boyd; greatgrandchildren, Matthew, Jesika, Ashlyn, Kayla and Hunter; special brother-in-law, Byron Boyd.

Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. from the Stevens Funeral Chapel, Pulaski with the Rev. Johnny Howlett officiating. Burial will follow in the Moore Family Cemetery, Pulaski County. Visiting will be Saturday evening at Stevens Funeral Home, where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family wishes that memorials be made to the Memorial Christian Church Building Fund, P.O.
