BOWMAN, Hester R.

Hester R. Bowman, 90, of Radford, died Friday, June 16, 2006 in a Pulaski County Retirement Center.

Surviving are two sons, Gene Harmon, Christiansburg, Billy Harmon, Dublin; two daughters, Shirley Shepherd, Radford and Jessie Shelor, Dublin; 35 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren also survive.

A Cryptside Service will be at 10 a.m. Monday in the Mausoleum Chapel of Highland Memory Gardens with the Rev. Dallas Vines officiating. There will be no visitation at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the New Life Harvest Church Building Fund. DeVilbiss Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
