Blankenship, Jr., Tobie Wademan

Tobie Wademan Blankenship Jr., of Floyd, passed away Monday, October 30, 2023. He was born September 2, 1967. He was preceded in death by his father Tobie Blankenship Sr.

Tobie Graduated from Virginia Tech with a degree in accounting. In addition to being an accountant he was also a chef, a sailor, an electrician, and a farmer. He was a loving dedicated father and husband. Tobie was also an avid hunter and fisherman, and was a man of many adventures, while also being one of the best story tellers in the world.

He is survived by his wife, Tanya Cook; son, Devin Blankenship; daughter, Tobie C Blankenship; great aunt, Nellie Branscome; cousins, Ray and Betty Blankenship, along with numerous Blankenship cousins.

A Memorial service will be held in the spring of 2024.
