Belcher, Freda Mae Mann

Freda Mae Mann Belcher, age 84, passed away on Monday, April 15, 2019, at her home in Lindside, WV. Born December 16, 1934, in Greenville, WV, she was the daughter of the late Preston and Mary Dillon Mann.

Freda was a graduate of the 1954 Greenville High School class and a member of the Dry Pond Regular Baptist Church. She was a homemaker and a beloved mother, grandmother, and sister.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thurman Paul Belcher; several brothers and sisters; and one great grandson, Easton Crook. Survivors include four sons, Randy Belcher and wife Cathy of Peterstown, WV, Ricky Belcher and wife Angela of Wikel, WV, Ralph Belcher and wife Katherine, and Kenny Belcher, all of Lindside, WV; one brother, Kenneth Mann of Greenville, WV; one sister, Anna Lee Wright of Narrows, VA; seven grandchildren; four step grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren; and two step great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, April 20, 2019, at the Broyles-Shrewsbury Funeral Home Chapel in Peterstown, WV, with Rev. Otuce Huffman, Jr. and Pete Dunford officiating. Burial will follow at Pine Grove Memorial Gardens in Lindside, WV. Visitation will be from 12:00 PM until time of services on Saturday at the funeral home.
