Beckner, Jr., Daniel L.

Daniel L. (Old Man Dan) Beckner, Jr., 75, of Elliston, passed away Wednesday, February 1, 2006 at Richfield Recovery and Care Center.

He was born on July 18, 1930 a son of the late Daniel L. Beckner, Sr. and Lutie Anderson Beckner. He was also preceded in death by a son, Daniel L. Beckner III. Mr. Beckner worked for Sherwood Memorial Park for 30 years.

Surviving family include three sons and daughters-in-law, David L. and Denise Beckner, Michael J. Beckner and Barry L. and Bonnie Beckner; daughter-in-law, Robin Beckner; one brother, Walter; three sisters, Nellie, Libby and Alverta; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

A graveside funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, February 4, 2006 from Sherwood Memorial Park. There will be no visitation.
