BARKER, Jacqueline P.

Jacqueline Patrick Barker, 74, formerly of Christiansburg, Va., passed away at her Apopka, Fla. home Saturday, May 27, 2006.

Born in 1931 in West Hazzard, Ky., she and her family lived in the Clearwater, Fla. area for many years. But she loved living in the mountains of Virginia, and she and her family moved from Christiansburg, Va. to Clearwater, Fla. and back several times.

Jackie was a homemaker, devoted wife and mother, and an animal lover, especially cats. She liked to bake and was an avid reader. She loved working jigsaw puzzles with cats in them. She was a Methodist.

She is now at rest with her husband, Walter Mason, and son, Terry Michael. She is survived by daughters, Connie, Apopka, Fla. and Jill, Eustis, Fla.; son, Richard, Dunedin, Fla.; sisters, Maxine Linkous, Christiansburg, Va. and Jerry Holycross, Ohio; and sister-in-law, Reba Barker, Riner, Va.
