Bain, Shirley Ann Yates

Shirley Ann Yates Bain, 70, of Christiansburg, passed away at Montgomery Regional Hospital.

She is survived by her husband, Roma Bain of Christiansburg; four daughters and sons-in-law, Sherry and William Linkous of Christiansburg, Ruby and John Williams of Blacksburg, Mary Jones of Christiansburg, and Ruth Jesse of Radford; brother and sister-in-law, Gary and Shirley Yates of Christiansburg; five sisters and brothers-in-law, Wilma and Joe Hendrickson of Indiana, Peggy and Marvin Johnson of Ohio, Judy and Hersie Belcher of West Virginia, Linda Justice of Ohio, and Rita Graham of West Virginia; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 19, 2006 in the Merrimac Pentecostal Holiness Church with the Rev. Jerry Sloss and the Rev. James Walker. Interment will follow in the Shepherd Family Cemetery. Mrs. Bain will be placed in the Merrimac Pentecostal Holiness Church at 4 p.m. and the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday evening at the church.
