Bailey, Steve Randall

Steve Randall Bailey, 55, of Blacksburg, died Sunday, March 2, 2008, at Montgomery Regional Hospital. He was born in Giles County, Va., on August 18, 1952, and was preceded in death by his father, Warren Bailey; a sister, Juanita Anderson; and a brother, Michael Bailey.

He is survived by his mother, Anna P. Smith, of Blacksburg; five sisters, Anna Criner, of Christiansburg, Barbara McCoy, of Giles, Linda Cook, of Blacksburg, Frances Collins, of Blacksburg and Loretta Farley, of Christiansburg; one brother, Winston Smith Jr., of Blacksburg; 13 nieces; seven nephews; and numerous greatnieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 5, 2008, in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. James Flaugher and the Rev. Rador Vaden officiating. Interment will follow in the Stevers Family Cemetery, Wolf Creek, Giles County.

Friends may call anytime after 12 noon Tuesday, March 4, 2008, and the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday evening at McCoy Funeral Home, 150 Country Club Drive, Blacksburg, Va.
