Anderson, Harry Draper

Harry Draper Anderson, of Newbern, died Monday, August 21, 2006. Born March 1, 1928 in Pulaski County, Va., he was the son of the late Lucy Mae Walls Anderson and Harry Lee Anderson. Harry was a retired auto mechanic and a veteran of the U.S. Army.

He is survived by his loving wife; Margaret Burch Anderson of Newbern, Va.: two sons; Barry L. Anderson of Dublin, and Christopher “Chris” B. Anderson of Dublin: three daughters; Diane A. Bowden of Pulaski, Vickie A. Woolridge of Morganton, N.C., and Teresa A. Malone of Pulaski: three brothers; Johnny Robert “Bobby” Anderson of Staffordsville, Arnold J. Anderson of Pulaski, and Roger L. Anderson of Newbern: one sister; Alene A. Gray of Pulaski. Also survived by twelve grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday August 23, 2006 at 11 a.m. at Seagle Funeral Home with the Rev. Dallas Vines officiating. Interment will be in Thorn Spring Cemetery. Visiting will be the evening before at the funeral home from 6 until 8 p.m. Memorials may be made to the V.F.W. Post 1184 in Pulaski, Va.
