Anders, Timothy Leroy

Timothy Leroy (Tim) Anders, 37, of Christiansburg departed this life on January 15, 2010 to be in Heaven with his father. He was preceded in death by his father, Rex L. Anders and, grandfather, Roy Price. Survivors include his mother, who devoted her life to him, Linda Anders; sisters, Renee Anders, Melissa Taylor, Hope Anders; nephews, Jay, Matt, Buckshot. Also surviving are his grandparents, Doris and A.T. Powell, of Richmond; uncles and aunts, Roy and Theresa Price, Danny and Cindy Price, Guy and Sandy Powell, all of Richmond; special aunt, Betty Howard; special friends, Doris Phillips and Woody Spradlin. The family wishes to extend a special thanks to Blue Ridge Transportation and Leon Alley and Ed Williams and the staff of Montgomery Regional Hospital in the Emergency Department and Intensive Care Unit for the very special care they gave him. Tim loved life, his music and he loved his momma so much. He will always be remembered by everyone. “So keep on smiling Tim”. The family will receive friends at The Horne Funeral Home, Sunday, January 17, 2010 from 2 to 4 and 5 to 8 p.m. A funeral service will be held Monday at 2 p.m. in the Horne Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Stanley Thompson officiating.
