Akers, Earlene Dingus
Earlene Rose Dingus Akers, 68, of Riner, passed away on Saturday, February 10, 2024. She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl Lee and Mary Mullins Dingus; and a brother, Dennis Lee Dingus.
Survivors include her husband, Eddie Akers; children, Jonathan E. Akers (Christina), James A. Akers (Amanda), and Margaret E. Akers (Joel); grandchildren, Alex, Jonathan, David, Briar, April, Tyler, Adam and Bella; sisters, Sheila Ann Gallimore (Walter), Patricia Lynn Thomas, and Johnnie Belinda Lytton; and many other relatives and special friends.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.

So sorry for your loss. Earlene was a wonderful, loving person. She would tell me how much she loved sitting on the bleachers at Auburn High School and listening to me and my friends talking about our boyfriends. I’ve known her from the first grade. I really enjoyed working with her at the Riner Food Center. She will be so missed. It won’t be the same not seeing her around Riner. God bless you all. Thinking of you.
