Akers, Dorothy Meredith

Dorothy V. Akers, 95, of Blacksburg, Virginia passed away on Saturday, October 7, 2023. She was born on July 22, 1928, in Pembroke, Virginia. Dorothy was preceded in death by the love of her life, William H. Akers.

Dorothy is survived by her children Tony P. Akers (Julie), Gary D. Akers, and Desiree A. Kalafut (John) along with six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. A private graveside service was held.
