Rarick, Jr. Frank E.

Frank E. Rarick, Jr. of Radford, peacefully passed away on December, 11, 2016. He was born in Youngstown, Ohio on July 9, 1923 to the late Frank E. and Charlotte James Rarick.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Faith Audrey Rarick; and grandson, Joshua Feitiera.

He was a WWII veteran serving in both the European theater and the Pacific theater. Mr. Rarick retired from General Electric in 1987.

He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Nadine Ruth and Dr. Michael Brackenrich of Pembroke; son and daughter-in-law, Scott Robert and Sharon Rarick of Maui, Hawaii; brother, Robert Rarick of Sebring, Ohio; five grandchildren, Rachel Ann Meadows and husband, Scott of Roanoke, Dr. Justin Brackenrich and wife, Fernanda of West New York, New Jersey, Jared Brackenrich of Pembroke, Alana and Zachary Rarick of Maui, Hawaii; two great-grandchildren, Emma Faith and Abigail Noel Meadows of Roanoke; and several nieces and nephews.

Interment will be held at a later date in Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Boardman, Ohio. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society P.O. Box 22478 Oklahoma City, OK 73123. Arrangements by McCoy Funeral Home, Blacksburg.
