Davis, Donald Eugene

Donald Eugene Davis, age 64, of Christiansburg, formerly of Stafford, Va took his place as our guardian angel on Saturday, November 26, 2016, at Lewis-Gale Medical Center.

He was born in Delaware on September 25, 1952 to the late Ray and Frances Davis. Donald was a member of Iron Workers Local 201 since 1973. He also enjoyed collecting sports cards and was an avid sports enthusiast. He spent his Saturday’s cheering for the University of Alabama football team. Roll Tide!

He is survived by his devoted wife of 40 years, Sharon Davis; son, Chad Davis; daughter and son-in-law, Heather and David Durbin; grandchildren, Santanna, Michael, and Thomas; sister and best friend, Joann Dietrich; son at heart, David Keuhner; many cherished children who knew him as Pops and an abundance of friends and family members.

Donald’s wishes were to be returned to Wild and Wonderful West Virginia and his family will be honoring this wish in the near future.
