Patton, Virginia Thompson

Virginia Lee Thompson Patton, 64, of Pulaski, Va., died Sunday, Oct. 9, 2016. Born March 28, 1952, she was the daughter of the late Emory Thompson and Mary Clark Thompson. She was also preceded in death by a sister JoAnn McCuan.

Surviving are husband David “Ray” Patton Sr.; daughter Mary Patton; sons Edward Patton and David Patton Jr.; grandson Elijah Patton; brother William “Bill” Thompson of Hagerstown, Md.; and several nieces and great-nephews.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Stevens Funeral Chapel, with Bobby Ward officiating. Burial will follow from at Southwest Virginia Veterans Cemetery, Dublin, Va. Visiting will be 10 a.m. Thursday until the service hour at the funeral home where the family will receive friends.
