Chapman, Lessie Montine

Lessie Montine Chapman, fondly known as “Monty”, passed away Saturday, October 15, 2016 in her Radford home. She was 86 years old.

She is survived by her one and only true love of 66 years, her husband, Robert L. Chapman; her son and daughter-in-law, Stephen and Joie Chapman; granddaughters, Joie Montine and Jessica Francis; and 3 sisters, Velma, Florine and Linda.

Monty was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She will be missed by her family, friends and community.

The family will receive friends from 12:30 until 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford. Graveside services will follow at the West View Cemetery in Radford with Dick Harshberger officiating.
