Clark, Ruth Martin

Effie Ruth Martin “Ruth” Clark was born February 13, 1919 in Allisonia, Va. to Wilcher Monroe and Emma Robinson Martin. She passed away to meet her Lord and Savior, Sunday, October 9, 2016.

Preceded in death by her loving husband of 71 years, Leon Rhodell Clark. Ruth leaves three daughters to cherish her memory Charlotte Ann Clark Price, Pulaski, Va., Marva Lee Clark (Michael) Hickman, Pulaski, Va., Lavern Clark (Richard) Law Dublin, Va.; grandchildren, Darrell Wayne Price, Dwayne Eugene Price, Tristan Giselle Hickman, LaShonda Danielle Law, Sherry (Justin), Richard Daniel (Jude) Law III; nine great grandchildren; eight great great grandchildren; sister: Ruby Frances Martin West, Detroit, Michigan; sister-in-law, Anna W. Martin, Pulaski, Va.; a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Family will receive friends, 10 to 11 a.m., Saturday, October 15, 2016 at Randolph Avenue United Methodist Church, Funeral services, 11 a.m., the Rev. Dr. Karen E. Black, Officiating, the Rev. Sharon L. Bowers, Eulogist.
